The Yarn:

The beauty of hand-dyed yarn is that each skein is completely unique. Hand-dyed yarns vary between batches, yarn bases, and skeins. Even skeins that have been dyed in the same lot will vary to some extent, as no two are identical. I do my best to accurately represent the colors in product photos, but be aware that computer monitors can alter the way colors look on screen. If you want to ensure that your skeins match as closely as possible when purchasing multiples of the same color, please use the sweater quantity pre-order option.


Every skein is dyed by hand in my home, which is a smoke free, pet friendly environment. All yarn is dyed and stored away from pets.


Washing:

All yarn is thoroughly rinsed and washed with specialty wool wash before it is sent to you. Due to the nature of the dyes used for yarn, particularly with saturated colors, some color bleeding may occur for the first few washes. Be sure to use cold water when hand washing and blocking your projects, and if you are particularly concerned about color bleeding you may want to hand wash your yarn in cold water prior to use.


Never rub, wring, or twist your projects when washing, as it may cause felting. Use either a wool wash or gentle detergent when hand-washing and blocking projects.


Shipping:

All orders are shipped via United States Postal Service (USPS). I do everything I can to ship orders as soon as possible, but please keep in mind that I am the sole person behind the scenes. Pre-orders will be shipped by the date indicated in the listing. If for any reason there are delays in shipping, I will contact you by email to keep you in the loop. 


Please be certain that you are using the correct shipping address upon purchase, as orders are shipped to the address provided.


Once packages leave my hands, I cannot control any delays in transit, lost or stolen packages. If there are any shipping issues, please contact the carrier directly before contacting me.


International Customers:

The buyer is responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. As I cannot control packages once they leave my home, the mail carrier bears responsibility for any issues that arise in shipping and should be contacted directly if there are any issues.


Returns:

*Digital patterns, sale items, pre-orders, and custom orders are NOT eligible for return.

I strive for you to be happy with your yarn and will gladly accept returns to your original form of payment or in-store credit within 14 days of purchase.


To be eligible for return or exchange, the yarn must be in the original condition and original packaging. Yarn that has been opened, wound, or is otherwise in used condition cannot be returned. The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs, and original shipping costs are non-refundable.


Orders can be cancelled within the first 2 hours of purchase, as long as your order has not yet shipped.


To submit your return:

To request a return, email madebyhaileybailey@gmail.com with your order number and reason for return. Please do not mail your items until you receive an email response to confirm return eligibility. Once the return is received, you will receive an email confirmation of receipt and if your return is in the required unused condition, you will receive your refund to your original payment method or in-store credit. Depending on your bank, refunds may take several days to post. Please wait a reasonable amount of time before contacting us if you have not received your refund yet.
