This is the pre-order listing for the December Bird Club Monthly Mystery Yarn: a monthly surprise skein of hand-dyed yarn inspired by some of the world's most beautiful feathered friends!
December's mystery yarn is inspired by the Lewis's Woodpecker, described by some bird experts as perhaps "the weirdest of woodpeckers." This North American bird may be part of the Woodpecker family, but it flies more like a Crow and catches bugs midair like a Flycatcher. The colors of its plumage include deep smoky olive-emerald green and a vivid pink that darkens to scarlet red.
You will receive one 100g skein of yarn, hand-dyed based on the bird of the month. Refer to the inspiration photo in this listing for a general idea of the colorway.
December bird club skeins will ship by Monday, December 15th.
