You will need:
- Approx. 155-165 yards of DK weight yarn in main color (MC)
- Less than 20 yards each of DK weight yarn in 4 contrast colors (CC): White (CC1), Black (CC2), Gray (CC3), and blue (CC4).
- Sample: Less than 1 skein of Made by Hailey Bailey Classic DK in Olivine (MC) and less than 1 DK mini skein each in Birch (CC1), Blackbird (CC2), Chimney Swift (CC3), and Tree Swallow (CC4).
- Size H/5mm crochet hook
- 2 stitch markers
- Scissors
- Yarn needle
Stitches used:
- Chain (ch)
- Slip stitch (sl st)
- Single crochet (sc)
- *Waistcoat stitch (wc)
- Waistcoat 2 together (wc2tog):

Finished dimensions: (after blocking)
Mitt width: 3.75”
Mitt length: 8.75”
Thumbhole opening width: 2”
Thumb portion length: 1”
*Note: Mitt is made to fit comfortably around the widest portion of your hand (just below the thumb), with a looser fit at the wrist. Instructions are provided to customize the size of your mitts if you need a larger or smaller size.
