Crochet Pattern: The Savannah Sparrow Cowl

Pattern difficulty: Intermediate/Difficult (Please do not attempt this pattern if you are a beginner. This pattern will be easier to those who are familiar with post crochet stitches, but image tutorials are included in the pattern so if you have not attempted a post stitch before, have no fear!)

Sizing: This pattern is written so that you can adjust the size of your cowl. Pattern includes adult sizing but can be easily adjusted for all ages.

You will need:
Approx. 450-500 yards of worsted weight (4) or chunky (5) yarn. (I used about 1.5 skeins of Lion Brand Scarfie.)
Size I/5.5mm crochet hook
Scissors
Yarn needle
Tape measure
Stitch marker

Stitches to know:
Chain (ch)
Slip stitch (sl st)
Single crochet (sc)
Back loop single crochet (blsc)
Half double crochet (hdc)
Special stitches: Front post double treble (fpdtr) and Half double crochet Ridge (hdc ridge) (instructions for special stitches are included in the pattern).
